May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and having experienced Bi-Polar with my step-daughter, Becky, whose heart was so gentle and beautiful, I wanted to take this moment to re-blog this post from one of my favorites in the blogging community. 🙂

Thank you, Rhonda. With faith and unconditional love for the man I married, my mantra has become, “God’s will be done.” I’ve set on more than one hospital parking lot garage street curb and cried out to God asking him why before I settled down with a simple prayer and realizing to survive this terrible disease, God would walk with us every step of the way.
Tom, my husband, didn’t do anything wrong, the same as millions of others with bipolar yet they are afflicted by one of the hardest to treat of all mental health diseases to treat.
