What a fun beginning to summer. Okay, so summer hasn’t “officially” started yet, but we don’t need a calendar to tell us when to begin the season, do we? To be honest, I’m usually enjoying the newness of every season before its “official” start. 🙂
Last Friday I took part in a Literary Circus. Talk about fun! I did an author reading from my upcoming release, Inn the Spirit of Murder, and shared a table with fellow author Francelia Briscoe-Belton. And if any of you haven’t listened to Kerrie Joy recite her poetry, you’re missing out on something HUGE! I highly encourage you to check it out. A-M-A-Z-I-N-G.

Saturday brought me to Lone Tree to an all-day event for a writers’ group I belong to, Sisters in Crime – CO Chapter. We learned from a panel about book launches and about polygraphs. Another wonderful writing kinda day. 🙂 But I gotta be honest, all the activity made me realize I’m not so young anymore.
Today for my birthday (my 29th LOL!), I’m celebrating with grandkids and grown kids. There is seriously nothing better! But once again, a reminder that I’m not so young anymore!
What is your perfect way to spend your birthday? Do you have any summer plans whether travel, staycations, or anything else? I’d love to hear!
Have a beautiful week and I’ll “see” you soon! XOXO
