3.) An exhilarating run on an exceptionally warm October evening, followed by a hot shower, a bowl of popcorn, a glass of A&W, and watching an episode of Castle. The ingredients for a perfect evening. 🙂
2.) Finally, after several years, finding strength to truly forgive myself for a mistake, allowing the healing process to begin.
1.) Time spent with my beautiful granddaughter and the joy, innocence, and heart-melting moments she brings to my life.

3.) When I click on the Publish button to publish a blog post and that beautiful pop-up appears that says “No writing errors were found.” Simple joy! 🙂
2.) The beauty of color – purple ink on white paper, the brilliant pinks, reds and oranges of a sunrise, the bright blue of a clear sky, the purity of the white clouds dotting that blue sky.
1.) That feeling of immense freedom that comes from releasing every care, every burden to Him, knowing He will work all for good. His will, not mine, be done.

1.) Finishing my word count goal for Camp NaNo and having the most amazing cabin mates. Our cabin Rocked! 🙂

I’m a little late but didn’t want to let this post slip through the cracks. There’s so much to be grateful for that it seems a shame not to express it openly.
My top three for the past week:
3.) Being a Minnesota girl, now living in Colorado for 17 years, going to the Minnesota Twins vs Colorado Rockies baseball game, sporting my Kirby Puckett jersey and cheering for both teams. It was a win-win. 🙂
2.) My son’s “Good night Madre” in his own special tone as I call good night to him when turning in for the night. And the bonus when he comes out and gives me a hug. Is there anything sweeter?
1.) God revealing to me that when others are irritating me, it’s usually not them, but rather a reflection of where I am and my own mental state at that moment.
